Description

These are part of a project I haven't told you about before, Deviants.

In line with my belief that the world needs more communication, and that all power-structures ammount to little more than voluntary-hallucinations, I have decided that awards needn't remain top-down in their modes of distribution. We don't need some kind of authority to tell us when we're doing well, so we can sort out similar symbols of aproval for eachother.

I've started making some to award to people I think are doing significant and important things in the world.

The leftmost one is for my old Circus Trainer, Kane. He's a wonderful performer, and I can't possibly be the only one he's inspired.

The rightmost one is for a penpal of mine in Brisbane by the name of Starz. She's underground as hell, and from the little interaction I've had with her (I didn't say we were very active penpals) she seems to be an intensely original and genuine person. Remaining so is a bit of a hero-effort.
Points to anyone who recognizes why I was so pleased to find that particular dangling-piece for a medal dedicated to improvement of underground culture.

The middle medal doesn't have an intended recipient yet, but it's going to have to be someone delightfully weird.
Something about that particular pendant (it was an earring before I got to it) suggests...well, outer-space, visually. So perhaps symbolically it can be for someone posessed of a most stellar imagination...I'll find someone who deserves it.

The first one of these I made I'm not sure you'll get to see, because it was awarded to Cruise, for Vocal and Visible Resistance to Authoritarian Fuckheads, at the anti-uniform protest that happened after his school gave him that trouble over his interesting hair.

As with the patchwork chains, if any of you fancy making some of these and distributing them amongst those you think highly of I'd be intensely delighted to hear about it, and if you want any wdvice on construction then please ask.
